Anchored objects, inline graphics, story jumps and 'live captions' in InDesign

Our group covers most of the products Adobe offers, focusing on products in the Creative Suite family. Whether your interest is in design, development or eLearning, we have something for you and best of all the sessions are always free with lots of great tips n tricks and networking opportunities. So if you’re interested in developing your skills in the areas of design, web, new media, 3d, architecture, motion graphics, and social media then the Creative Class is the place for you. Meet up with likeminded fun and serious individuals and also learn great new tips and techniques that may not be covered in your standard training class.
Our goal is to provide a unique, efficient and entertaining forum for designers - both professional and amateur - to offer solutions to our biggest problems and get their ideas out to an interested crowd who can offer networking possibilities, exposure and good old applause.
Placing images and other objects into text can be problematic - and even more so if you want to link them to a particular paragraph while positioning them outside the text frame. Then we'll look at keeping track of your story, wherever it goes, using 'story jumps', and finally using custom metadata to automatically generate 'live captions' on placed images.

Not the event publicised but still enjoyable . I think it was a good (unintentional) taster for the event they are doing next week at Google campus. And the information about the Design Fiesta they are doing soon was also helpful.

It was very good, though it wasn't about Anchored objects, inline graphics, story jumps and 'live captions'.

It wasn't the InDesign session as listed, perhaps due to numbers but useful tips and discussions as always.

Thanks for another fun learning experience. You definitely made a good case for creative cloud and an even better one for Designers Fiesta...booking my early bird ticket this week, exciting :-)

Hello Alcia, you do not have to bring anything except yourself, the presenters will be using a projector to display what they are talking about/doing on their own computers.
