Getting Started with Digital Publishing

What are the avenues open to publish digitally from InDesign? This session will show what’s involved in creating Interactive PDF, ePub and Adobe DPS. There’s never been a better time to look at the options you have to self-publish or offer your services in getting content ready for deployment and you already have the tools at your fingertips.

I found the first part concerning DPS very rewarding, some great products tips, thanks. Just got to find a project to try them out on. The second half on interactive PDF was interesting, at lot of it you can could find online, (sorry not a criticism) Abode TV channel is very good, BUT... you don't puns!
which I enjoyed. Yes, worth while attending. Thank you

It was a quality presentation at a great location and venue, the presenters were clearly very enthusiastic experts, probably gurus!
I attended as I wish to start learning how to utilise these tools and build on my basic knowledge and experience. But although there were a few interesting bits to take away, as others have said this was not for beginners and so a little disppointing and probably why a quarter of the audience left before the end.
Otherwise, worth attending and thank you for the invitation.

    How was it for you?

I felt the same as Steve. The title of the meet-up suggested a sort of overview of the tools InDesign provides and how to work with them, which is what I was hoping for. Especially the firs section came across as a 'learn how to 'run-before-you-can-walk'. I was missing a bit of structure in that sense. However I enjoyed the evening and got some useful tips for things to explore further.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
