Art Bazaar REDUX!

  • October 3, 2011 · 9:00 PM

We are starting up our flagship event, Art Bazaar, after a summer's respite! As before, we'll have an eclectic mix every month of Music, Comedy, Poetry, Improv, Dance, Film, and more. A collaborative painting will be created at every show. But some new and exciting changes include.... We are paring the show down to a lineup of only five performers, to keep it moving along, and adding an Open Mic afterward. Everyone is invited to bring five to fifteen minutes of material to the Open Mic, whether you're a veteran Bazaar-er or it's your first time experiencing the event. First come, first served! And best of all... NO COVER CHARGE! As always, we'll have an Open Jam before the show, which anyone is invited to join in! We'll have lots of instruments for you to pick up and play with, but feel free to bring your own guitar, fiddle, tambourine, panflutes or cowbell. This month's lineup in no particular order: - Chris Bonno: comic - Meg & Tim: improv - Tacky Jacky: meta-theatrical mayhem - Zach Laliberte: music - Micha Liberman: music - Pixel Lation: spoken word Art Bazaar gains synergy from the people who attend. The artists are the audience, and the audience are artists. Please come and share your energy!

I'd like to bring my 15 year old daughter to this event with me... would this be appropriate?

Hi Roxanne! This particular event was last year, but we are planning to schedule another one soon to get our creative vibes flowing. And to answer your question: our events are appropriate for all ages, but they occasionally take place in bars which usually only allow 21+. We'll always let you know if that's the case. Cheers!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
