Creative Commons in Schools

Details

Join us to for a lunchtime Meetup about Creative Commons for kiwi kids and teachers. We have some practical tips for finding and reusing great CC content in the classroom. Show off your new digital literacy and copyright skills and share them with kids or colleagues!

What is Creative Commons about?

Learning in the 21st century involves digital sharing and remixing - and sometimes in public online places. Students and teachers can safely use videos, images, text and music without infringing copyright when they use CC licensed content. As well as thinking about what teachers and students can 'use', schools are thinking about whether they can share their own resources for others to use and benefit from too.

Whether you're a teacher, parent, service provider or interested community member, we'd love for you to come along tell us about your own views and experiences too.

You can also RSVP by emailing admin@creativecommons.org.nz
