Are you ready to step it up a notch with light, colour and creative action!!!

Keeping with the "Portfolio Builder" 2012 series, we are introducing on the 1st Sunday of every month, two creative  / fashion Glam concept shoots.  Of course, the theme / lighting and model will change up from session to session to session.  But the consist scheduling will help you in planning your workshops and building a cohesive portfolio.

We will play and make your beauty, Fashion Glam images memorable. It takes more than good lighting and a beautiful model to make images stand out in your mind. Keep your images lingering with unique props and processing techniques.

Theme: The Midas Touch, Everything and Anything that is Golden.  we will play with light and movement with gold fabric, gold accessories and rich creative ideas.  I would like to challenge this sessions participants to bring gold props and accessories to make the images sing with their own creative spin.

What To Bring To The Session:

We recommend you come with shot ideas of your own but we will provide you with help in posing and getting some great images.

Model Release Forms

A model release for non-commercial purposes, signed by the model, will provided to each photographer.  All photographs from the photo shoot can be used for personal promotional purposes in your portfolio, on the web, in print media such post cards.  Images prints can also be produced and sold in gallery settings.
Who Should Attend?
Whether you're a seasoned photographer looking to freshen up your portfolio, just starting out your career in photography, a hobbyist who wants to learn some new skills, all our workshops are comfortably structured to suit all levels.

Please note that in order to attend and use the off camera strobes, your DSLR camera must have a flash hot-shoe for the wireless transmitter. Please consult your manual to see if your camera qualifies before signing up.

DSLR Sony Owners: These great camera’s use a proprietary hot shoe for the pocket wizard, The studio now has a hot shoe converter to accommodate your camera.

Our Sessions

Our sessions are small and intimate.  There is no more than 6 people at any given time.  This allows for class collaboration, and hands on coaching with lighting set up and set development.  participants are fully encouraged to think outside the box and bring their own flare to the set.  classes will always run as long as we have 1 person registered.

There is free parking after 6 pm on weekdays and weekends.

Please, I cannot caution enough.  Please ensure that all valuables are locked away safely in your trunk or bring inside with you.

   *** Important Reminders ****

This is NOT a nude shoot and it's important that at all time we respect the models and other participants. Before each session, we introduce our model and talk about model boundaries, as each and every model has her / his own boundaries.

Fees are to be paid in advance to the event organizer by via PayPal (credit cards accepted even if you don't have a Paypal account). I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
