CreativeNetworking Breakfast: Invisible Barriers, Is Your Business Deaf Friendly

Details
As it's the last CreativeNetworking breakfast event before Christmas I thought it would be nice to do something a little bit different, while still being valuable to the business.
I have invited Nikki Sanders of My Sign Tuition to teach us all some sign language and help us make our businesses more deaf friendly;
What does accessibility mean to you? You have the wheel chair ramps and the loop systems, what else would you need? Around 1 in 6 people in the UK are deaf and in Peterborough there is a growing population of Eastern European Deaf people as well as those who already live, work and shop here.
What barriers do Deaf people face and how can some simple techniques remove these barriers and make your business “Deaf friendly”. The event will start with informal networking over coffee, then it's time for your 60second presentations, breakfast and table networking, the presentation from Nikki and then 1-2-1 networking before home time - or networking can continue over unlimited breakfast treats and beverages.
We charge £12 per person for this event and receipts are provided. Booking is essential, especially for this event (for a reason you will find out at the event).
To network with attendees before the event please use #CreativeNetworking on Twitter or go to our Facebook page - Creative Networking Peterborough.
