Challenge 27 Forced Perspective
This month's challenge is a fun one. Forced Perspective Photography. You've seen those vacation photos of people holding up the Leaning Tower of Piza or the ones where one person looks like a giant stepping on a smaller person. These are done using a simple technique of perspective, Things that are closer appear larger and things that are farther away appear smaller. The rest is just the angle and position of the photographer.
Another popular technique is the gravity defying photo where someone appears to walk on a wall. This uses a fool the eye technigue and a rotated photo. Set someone up laying on the ground so that when the photo is turned, it looks like they are in the correct position but other around them appear to be the ones out of kilter.
These techniques have been used in photography and film for many years and look like a lot of fun to try. So get some friends together and lets see what you can come up with.

Here is an explanation and history:

Remember Challenges are meant for you to go out and try the technique, idea or subject, not look through your old photos and find something that fits the challenge. For you to purposefully take a specific kind of photo. I will post a gallery in a few days. In the meantime, see what you can come up with.
