Welcome to the network of creative pros of Sydney

Are you part of a creative industry? Are you working as a photographer, designer, architect? Are you an artist? Are you a Project Manager, a Communication Director, a Strategic Planner? Are you working in advertising, branding, communication, event management? Other creative business? Plus, you're living in Sydney? Then, this group is made for you!

We all know our industry is mostly an industry of networks. The goal of this group is then to create a real and useful network for people working in the creative industry in Sydney to be able to:
- share experience
- share information about tender bids, recruitment etc
- find someone, a specific skill for a project.

To reach this goal, the "battle plan" is the following:
- meeting regularly for cultural events + after-drink
- having some portfolios presentation sessions
- setting up a "who's who" databasis detailling the activities and contact information of each member
- promoting the group: this is the job of each of us: you're already part of the creative industry in Sydney, for sure you know other creative people as well as the ones who drive creative projects (and hire creative people then). Invite them to join and increase the number of profiles in our group. The more and various we'll be, the more useful this network for you!!

If this short introduction echoes you own objectives, then come and join us! Don't worry if I don't answer fast to your membership request since I'll be on the roads from Spetember, 11th to early December 09. It might take me 2 to 3 weeks to answer you. So please, don't desperate!

During this period, the agenda will slow down a little bit. Indeed, I left Australia on September, 11th, 2009 to go back to France. For this reason, I need to reorganise the structure and find assistants to help me being your local contact point. Meanwhile, some volunteer members will help me by hosting the events to come till the end of the year. Should you be interested to be part of my assistant team, please email me!

Last important point, by joining our network, you'll soon be part of a global network. Indeed, my next goal is to launch new Meet up Creative Professionals in big cities around the world to enable you sharing experience and networking at a valuable global level.
