Stillwater Critical Thinking Club

Presenter Bob Staeheli
Topic: Play Food or Real Food

Obesity is not an accident, but an unintended consequence of a strategy to sell "Play Food". It looks like food, tastes like food, smells like food, but it is not food.

If we were eating to put on weight so we could be processed as meat for the American dinner table, our diets would need to be tweaked just a little, but it would look a lot like what we are doing now. We might as well be cows.

We must learn why this is so important to tell the difference between "Play Food" and "Real Food." Bob learned the difference and so can you. The old maxim, "you are what you eat" was never more true.

NOTE!! This month only, the meeting date is moved from the 2nd Monday to the 1st Monday.
