CrowdFunding Community Hangout

Hello Friends,

Last week, I had the privilege of attending Up America Summit (http://www.upamericasummit.co/#home) in Iowa City/Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I found myself among a group of amazing, energetic, top startup community leaders who create and grow startup ecosystems all over the country. Needless to say, the know-how, inspiration, and motivation were beautifully overwhelming, and it served as a great reminder of how important it is to connect and collaborate with others who are trying to tackle the same problem.

I must say that I am both upset and relived that this 3-day summit shed a light on some problems I have been trying to solve for months. Be it as it may, there are still plenty of problems we need to solve in Atlanta’s crowdfunding scene. Trying to figure it all out on our own can be overwhelming and sometimes disappointing. There are still over 100 (and growing) crowdfunding campaigns in Atlanta and I feel personally responsible to, at least, bring us to par with national success average.

I am looking forward to seeing you all on November 6th, so we can sit down and hammer out some ideas and solutions to our problems.
