-------------------------------------------------Please join us for a delightful afternoon as the Crunchy Crafters (https://www.meetup.com/Crunchy_Crafters/) team guide you to make a simple, mild, organic soap out of olive oil.
This is a HANDS ON class. There will be a list of items that you will bring in order to make you first or nth batch of soap and share some good times with fellow makers.

List of supply YOU need to bring with:
Stick/Hand Blender - Any brand will do. Look at Target, Walmart or Thrift Stores Soap Mold - Almost anything can be used:
Recommended:Smart Water Bottle (It was used to form the round soap in the picture.) Paper Tea box
Large Bowl (wide month glass jar, ice cream container) to measure oils in before mixing.
Large Metal Spoon/silicon spacula for stirring the soap and getting it into the mold. Safety Goggles Rubber Gloves (the longer the sleeve, the better)
Large Plastic Bag to put bowl and stick blender in to safely transport home. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Short presentation (15 min + meet and greet)

Form working group. 2 in a team

Oil Prep: melting of oil and mixing in with olive oil

Measuring of lye solution

Mixing the 2 ingredient until "trace"

Pouring into the "mold" (Smart water bottle. 25 fl oz)
