Welcome, London Figure Drawing Artists!

Graduated as a Teacher of Art in 1998, teaching Life Drawing to adults for over two years, with 2-3 years experience of teaching adults. Initially, I set up the group in Crystal Palace because there was nowhere else to meet and to draw from the figure. The class consists of artists with or without experience. Others have developed a recent interest.
This is mainly a drop in class and an opportunity for people to make use of a large open space with lots of natural light. Additionally, my classes have the added bonus of being tutored. Predominantly I teach the fundamentals of drawing from the figure. The start of each class consists of quick sketches and drawings based on movement or static poses. Gradually poses become more sustained.
Trained as an Illustrator and Painter, the love of drawing and use of watercolours together with a wealth of knowledge and experience is a bonus to those that I teach. This group attracts people of all levels and abilities. It's also a great space with a Grand piano, easels and some basic equipment, but I advice you to bring some of your own equipment including your own sketchbook.
