Although I've read up on the Lovecraftian mythos, I've not yet read Lovecraft's books. I plan to remedy that. (Perhaps Borders Books going out of business will help me with gathering those works.) I played an early CoC roleplaying long years ago, and recently I've been involved with a Gaslight roleplaying group. That was great fun, and I'd like more, please.
I started roleplaying with OD&D back in 1978, when I lived in Maryland. After that, I found that certain high school classes provided the right time to roll character dice. Through high school and college, I played and ran a couple of long-running campaigns. After moving to Colorado, there was a long lull in my gaming, although I did become involved in a campaign run "back east," muchly running my PC as an NPC via email updates. And I'd play the character in person when I visited the area. I've maintained those gamer friendships a long time. More recently, I have been playing AD&D 3.5, CoC Gaslight, Deadlands, and some Pathfinder. Since 2007, I've been playing board games with some avid gaming friends of mine. I've been enjoying Catan, Ticket to Ride, Pandemic, and more than I can remember here. I also enjoy collaborative games, as well as games with riddles and puzzles.
Hi. I role-played through high school and college and a few years afterwards. I fell out of the gaming community when I moved to Colorado. I've picked up gaming again in the last few years and I'm happy to be back at it.
