To all the people who came to the 2nd Sat CCDC today...

My sincerest apologies for inconveniencing you...I should have done my homework and checked for events that might be happening this weekend.  When I drove up from the south side, the traffic was horrendous and all parking was taken (for blocks?) around the park.  I drove on the north side from Venice to take a quick look but didn't see anyone... I'm hoping that anyone that came didn't bother to get out of the car (like me) and just turned around and did something else with their time.  I went to Motherland Music for their DC.

-I feel so foolish...at work, one facet of my job is to predict completion dates for work that I am bidding on (and am held to that committment) and that involves thinking ahead and calling other customers (do you have a job coming up soon, when do you think it will materialize?).  The fact that I got caught sleeping here is really inexcusable.

Well, here is your new opportunity to drum in a jam circle in the weekend between the CC Drum Circle.

Join Us (Sid, Ken and Gale) for the "Second Saturday Culver City Open Drum Jam" starting Saturday May 12, from 1PM to 3PM at Media Park, in Culver City.  That's the same venue at the Culver City Drum Circle!

Bring your instrument(s) and a chair(s).

(don't forget, you can park for 2 hours free across the street in the Trader Joe's building.  Then: It's only a dollar an hour after that.  Compare that to $1.50 an hour and parking tickets ($60!!!) on the street.)

So come sit in for a set and jam freestyle with Sid, Ken and Gale!

Brought to you by Leslie, your devoted CCDC founder.
