Singles Mixer and Cava (Spanish sparkling wine) Tasting

Come spend an evening with us at a nice location sampling new sparkling wines while meeting and getting to know other awesome local singles!

What’s a Mixer?

Cupcake Mixers are a blend between a party and a speed-dating event, where guests are given the chance to meet each other, but the atmosphere is more relaxed than the usual speed-dating event. Because let’s be honest, we’re there to meet people, but we want to have fun at the same time, right? That’s what happens at a Mixer.

Why Cava?

Social gatherings with wine are just nice. A welcoming venue with friendly hosts are also ingredients for a great event, which is why we've selected Cavaissimo. Owners Dave and Franziska regularly host tastings and are excited to introduce us to the world of Cava, Spanish sparkling wine. Not only will we have a great time meeting and getting to know each other, but we’ll sample some delicious wines as well, and learn a little something we didn’t know before.

What should I expect?

Here’s the evening plan:

7.30 - Arrival, introduction

7:45 - 8:15 First round of wine sampling and meeting (we’ll break up into small groups to sample each of the wines and meet the other guests - no one leaves a stranger!)

8:15 - 8:30 Break (time to snack, mix and mingle, freshen up, get fresh air, have a quick smoke break outside, etc... )

8:30 - 9:00 Second round of wine sampling and meeting

9:00 - 9:30 Third round of drinks, chatting, and Cupcakes (for anyone who is a fan of sweets).

Altogether, we will be enjoying and learning about at least 3 different sparkling wines throughout the evening.

Friends are of course welcome to come along, but please make sure to have them sign up themselves, RSVP with a +1 or +2 for the evening. Additionally, anyone who does invite and bring a guest will receive a free ticket for a future event as a thank you. (Please just make sure to mention this at the event or message me in advance so that this is credited to you).

Refund policy: should the event be postponed or canceled for any reason, your ticket fee will be fully refunded, so there is no risk in signing up.
