This quad biking experience combines an awesome forest trek, a cross country ramble and expert tuition which ensures an unforgettable experience! An adventure day guaranteed to put a smile on your face!
Whether you’ve tried it before, or you’re a newcomer to all terrain vehicles, you’ll really get to grips with our quads on our purpose built 5 mile woodland safari track.
Challenge yourselves and take on the extreme inclines, declines and mud puddles! Not to mention their moggle hills, bridge and ditch crossings, and through various fields on your way round!
What happens on the day?
All treks are led by an instructor who will brief you before you set out and stay with you at all times. Once you have familiarised yourselves with our quad bikes then the real fun begins as you navigate your way through the various terrains.The quad bikes are fully automatic to enable even the novice rider to negotiate the course.
How long do I get?
This depends on the booked package, but generally they allow one hour per group which includes briefing time and instruction. We also ask groups to arrive 30minutes prior to the session start time to sign in.
What do I need to bring?
Southern Pursuits provides all safety equipment, so no need to worry about bringing your own helmets! Please make sure you dress appropriately. In the winter ensure to wrap up warm and to wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty! In summer please ensure no shorts or open toed shoes!
Waterproofs can be purchased on arrival should these be required.
Other useful details – Minimum age for Quad biking near London is 16. No driving license required, but some driving experience useful.

Clay Pigeon shooting in Sussex, also known as clay target shooting, is a popular and well-loved countryside outdoor pursuit (http://www.southernpursuits.co.uk/outdooractivities/). This impressive sport is the art of shooting at clay targets, with a 12 or 20 bore shotgun.
This Clay shooting activity appeals to all ages and personalities as it incorporates the great outdoors with skill and determination. Clay pigeon shooting is a thrilling experience, demanding calm concentration, a keen eye and quick reactions.
Souther Pursuits offers fully instructed sessions for beginners, with diverse and challenging sporting targets designed to test your target skills. Our sporting layout is designed to emulate live game. We have 6 different traps located into 5 various positions; a high pheasant, grouse, crossing pigeon, rabbit and down the line.
What if I haven’t done clay pigeon shooting in Sussex before?
No problem! We specialise in tuition for beginners so even if you have never picked up a gun, we’ll make sure you feel safe and comfortable.
What else is included in each package?
Our Clay Shooting Event includes your cartridges, instruction, gun hire, clays and safety equipment. Everthing you need for your Clay Shooting Adventure day (http://www.southernpursuits.co.uk/outdooractivities/).
We offer a range of clay shooting packages which can incorporate 15, 25 or 50 cartridges!
We will take the train from Clapham Junction train station towards Three Bridges train station which leaves at 10:53 am. (36minutes 1-stop) Once there, we will take a minibus offered by Southern Pursuits for just £2 return. Or we can pay a cab for about the same cost.
We have to meet sharp at 10:30 so we can buy a group saver train ticket and save some money on it :)
We have to be there half an hour before commencing the activity.
On site Facilities:
Facilities onsite include a tea room and a hayrack espresso bar which can provide breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a large barn also which can be used for short meetings, team talks and presentations if needed.
The tea room offers generous helpings of anything from delicious cakes to roast dinner and BBQ’s.
The Farm shop is full of local farm grown produce as well offering a large selection of unique gifts.
There are onsite toilets but unfortunately no showering facilities so be prepared to bring a change of clothes, bin liners and wet wipes!
The site boasts a large car park which can accommodate up to 4000 cars.
If we plan having food after the activities we will have a little more than an hour to do it as they close at 5:00pm.
So, the train to come back will be the 17:03pm non-stop to Clapham.
There are no lockers so each person has to carry their belonging with them.
The event can only take place if there are at least 8 people.
Early bird price of £90 applies if you pay the full amount by the 15 June 2013. If paid after this date it will raise to 99. To secure your place please pay the deposit of £50 (+paypal fees) on RSVP.
