Can Bitcoin Pay for the Internet of Things (IoT)
We live in a world where privacy expectations are reaching all-time lows due to government snooping, commercial exploitation and criminals stealing or publishing every piece of data we provide to conduct our digital lives. Come and explore with us how the blockchain, one of the key enabling technologies of the crypto-currency “Bitcoin" can allow us to take back control of our privacy and autonomy and re-ignite the great twenty-first century engine of growth, the Internet of Things (IoT).
We're pleased to welcome our guest speakers for this engaging and informative event!

About the IoT Meetup
We are moving toward a world of connected devices at an aggressive pace. Commonly referred to as the Internet of Things (IoT), it is the use of data by business, systems and people to make informed decisions in real time. LTE estimated 2B devices alone by year's end 2017. We are expected to reach 4% of connections by 2015 and 10% by the end of 2018. As we move steadily closer to connecting every person and device in the world, our economic future will depend even more on maintaining a unified global Internet.
As a result, the billions of interconnected intelligent devices will generate insurmountable amounts of data that will need to be secured. This reality will require companies of all shapes and sizes to work collaboratively to ensure efficiency and security.
We strongly believe this is a very important topic that will continue to grow and affect each industry through what we are calling convergence. Join us at the IoT Meetup to continue the discussion.
