Munda Bidda, 2 weeks of epic riding in WA.

Details
The Munda Biddi trail. A trail of epic proportions stretching 1100km from Perth to Albany. Covering a great variety of scenery from coastal to jarrah forest and grassy plains with a mixture of fire trail and single track.
To those who are interested or semi interested in cycling the Munda Biddi now is the time to put that dream into action. Schedule your calendar in 2014 for the proposed date range 22 March 2014 through to 06 April 2014.
The plan is to ride the direction from Albany through to Perth. The Munda Biddi is 1100km in total, where we plan to do around 800km of it. Those who are committed to complete the entire journey or who want to do part of it, feel free to come along. I have compiled a set of maps and documents gleaned from various blogs. This is a self organised non-commercial event. Currently there is a core of 3 riders, which we hope to increase up to 8. We will be hiring a vehicle to act as support. There will be a mixture of camping and accommodation.
This is a ride to enjoy, as such we will do things like stop and take photos, have a swim if the Pemberton Pool is above freezing temperature and stop & wait for friends who find the going is a bit tough. However, we will keep in mind that there is an overall goal of travelling to an end point. The number of km per day will vary on the terrain and number of days we've been riding. On big rides such as this I find that three hard days or so then a recovery day, we'll work on that in conjunction with the maps and various blog/track notes.
Support Vehicle. This really depends on the numbers and level of interest in that regard. I'll go with the flow here. I found on the NZ trip I did that it wasn't too hard to carry 10kg of baggage shared across back pack and rack. Naturally a vehicle has advantages with baggage carriage, tired or injured riders who need a rest etc.
Fitness and capabilities. Expect to be riding between 5 and up to 10 hours (rare) in a day. This means you should be riding regularly. Do not leave fitness to the last minute - plan and act now ! As an indication my plan is to ride twice during the week in the morning @1 hour and Sat / Sun @2 1/2 hour mixing road and mountain bike. This will be increased with a 5 hour ride on Sat or Sun and 3-4 days during the week with varying intensity six weeks beforehand. I also cross train with swimming and the odd push up, burpee and stomach work when the mood is there.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated. There is much planning involved, it has taken some time to collect route plans and notes, and there is accommodation, must see or do attractions, car hire and so on that needs to be done it order to make it a success. There will be a couple of meetings before the event as needs be. Feel free to correspond by phone (0407045686) or by the contact facility in Meetup.
