Mobile Devices SIG Meeting

The Mobile Devices Special Interest Group focuses on smartphones, tablets, and e-readers. It includes Android and iOS devices, BlackBerry smartphones, Windows phones, Windows tablets, Kindles, and Nooks.

We meet in downtown Danbury at our Resource Center. You can bring your devices and optionally your laptop to get your questions answered. Each month we try to cover a specific topic before opening up to questions.

This month we'll talk about voice recognition for text entry, voice control, and intelligent assistants on your phone.

The Mobile Devices SIG meets on the fourth Thursday of the month. SIG meetings are a benefit of DACS membership, but you may try your first meeting before deciding to join DACS. Directions to the DACS Resource Center are posted here: http://www.dacs.org/sigroups/directions.htm#ives.
