About us
DBSA San Diego is a network of free peer-led support groups for people with any type of mental health challenge and their family & friends. In addition to free support groups, we have low cost social events, lectures, art nights, picnics, bonfires, and other events. Come join us for a meeting to get support for yourself or to learn more about supporting a friend or loved one. :) No reservations or paperwork required. Just show up!
*Most people don't RSVP here so even if it looks like no one's coming there will still be group and there will be people.*

June Potluck Picnic
Our legendary potluck picnic is back!
Picnic 1-5pm, Food served 2-4pm, Art 2-4pm
*Note - this is a social event, not a support group
Please bring a dish or drink to share, a chair, a towel or blanket, and games, family and friends!

We will supply fried chicken, condiments, soft drinks, paper goods, and utensils. We do not provide vegan or vegetarian foods but you are free to bring your own. We also do not provide gluten/soy/dairy-free etc. We trust you can bring them if you need them. :)
The gate that enters the parking lot closest to where we meet is at the intersection of Moorland Dr. and Corona Oriente Road. This is the tree where we meet

If for some reason that space is taken, just follow the signs to "DBSA Picnic" or go to the tree we met at for several picnics last year (a few trees over https://maps.app.goo.gl/M6ftpZnKzVPSJKVo6).
Do not bring your dog unless it is a service dog. Dogs are only permitted at Crown Point after 6pm.
Alcohol and smoking are also not permitted at Crown Point.

IN-PERSON Pop-up Support Group - Mixed
Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital, 7850 Vista Hill Avenue, San Diego, CA, USYou're invited to our Monday night in-person support group. It is a mixed group for people with mental health challenges AND family & friends. Everyone is welcome to share a topic and get feedback.

Our new location is the Executive Conference Room at Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital. When you walk in the front, get a visitor sticker from the desk. You don't have to sign in or give any info. Just tell them you're there for DBSA. The room is on your right a few doors down the hallway.
