Drone for the Holidays (Learn to Fly!)

Got a new drone for the holidays? Want to learn how to fly? Or, are you a skilled pilot wanting to share your skills and holiday cheer?

Come join our nationwide effort with Roswell Flight Test Crew, AMA, AUVSI, RCAPA, UAVSA, DPA, and Drone User Groups throughout the country to educate drone users on how to fly their new drone!

Directions:

Leesburg, VA / Loudoun County:

Closest major intersection is route 15 S (of Leesburg) and route 704.

From route 15 go to route 704 (Harmony Church Rd), go 1 mile from route 15 and turn onto Dunlop Mill Rd.

Go down hill to unpaved portion of road. Go over one lane bridge that crosses Sycolin Creek. Before going up the hill turn left into field.

There is an entry way to the lower field from the road (entrance marked by US flags). Meetup will be in open grass field. Park anywhere in grass field where we will meet and fly.

Notes:

Since this is private property, signing a waiver, releasing liability, is required.

Flights will be limited to a maximum of 400 feet above ground level.
