What's your experience working with drones? Beginners are welcome!

I originally started about two years ago with a cheap 3CH Syma toy helicopter from Amazon and have since graduated to building my own multirotors. I also have some robotics/electronics experience from college.

What kind of equipment do you own/operate (ArduCopter 3DR Hexacopter, Phantom, AR Drone etc...) You don't need to have your own equipment to join the group.

I own a few "toy" class Blade helis/quads that I enjoy for fun flying: mCX2, MQX, and a Nano QX. My first real self-build was a clone 450mm Flame Wheel quad. My new build that I'm currently flying is a Blackout Mini H quad controlled via Taranis.

What events would you like to see this group have?

Generally, flying meetups, events where I can get advice from experienced hobbyists, etc. Currently very interested in FPV racing. Watching someone fly a long-range FPV flight would also be cool.

How did you hear about this group?

What is your e-mail address?

Thoroughly addicted to the multirotor hobby, and I always love learning more.
