I hope you have a calendar that goes all the way to March, because that's how far in advance this is scheduled! That's *over a month* to prepare hacks for presentation! This is going to be good. (Also your calendar should have Tuesdays, because that's the day this one is on. Tuesday the 18th. In March.) To present, sign up here:
The format is informal, engaging, and friendly: presenters have 5 minutes to show off their hack (it goes faster than you’d expect) and then the audience has 5 minutes to ask questions, make jokes, and suggest ideas and feedback.
The hacks that people present are anything from how to train your dog to text you when it needs a walk to [something more serious... like generating random passphrases]. Show us what you’ve got! But remember: no startup pitches, dull work projects, or deckware!
If you’re interested in presenting, complete the short form here: http://bit.ly/hackandtelldc7
See you at the meetup! We chill from 6:30pm to 7pm, and then presentations start.
(Also, if you know why our meetup is so hard to find by searching on the meetup site itself, tell us how to fix it and I will totally give you a beer or whatever!)
Huge thanks to iStrategyLabs, and everyone who makes this possible!
