The DC Poetry Project Volunteer Event: NAMI-DC Annual Christmas Party

Our major volunteer effort for the year will be working as helpers and clean-up assistants at the Annual Christmas Party for mental health consumers and their families sponsored by National Alliance on Mental Illness - Washington, DC Chapter (NAMIDC.org). (http://namidc.org/) Last year over 150 people were in attendance and it was an amazing success.

During the event, community members, mental health consumers and members from the DC Poetry Project will share poetry. So, if you are interested in volunteering, please email me or RSVP and I will provide you with additional information.
