The DC Guerrilla Poetry Insurgency (GPI) is a self-proclaimed “anti-authoritarian, collaborative pro-humanity artists’ collective incorporating music, rhythm, spoken word, community, and resistance.”

Join the roster at GPI’s open mic poetry event, now in its tenth year at Bossa! All you have to do is show up with your verses, someone else’s (GPI embraces “OPP” (other people’s poems)), or none at all and just wing it /allow the muses to move you. Stage fright? Bring your work for someone else to read, or just kick back with a happy hour special and enjoy the happening. All are welcome.
