7:30-8:30 pm PRESENTATIONS

One more talk to come...!

(1) Patrick Mcknight || Professor of Psychology with expertise in stats and methods

Last year at this time, John Carney and I were preparing to head off to climb Mt. Everest. He was scheduled to climb from the south side (Nepal) whereas I had my eyes set to climb from the north side (Tibet). The Chinese government had their say in my climb and rejected my visa application and I soon found myself on the south side with John. Fate would have it that neither of us got to climb but we kept our resolve to climb that mountain. We now have swapped sides - me from the south and John from the north - and plan to climb again. We plan to talk about how our preparation changed and what we tracked while preparing for this big objective. I will present my exercise and hypoxic training data. Come out and join us in a discussion of Mt. Everest preparation.

(2) Dmitri Adler || Data Scientist who runs the Data Education DC meetup and founder of Data Society ( http://datasociety.co/ )

Josh Touyz || Co-Founder of Data Driven DC meetup ( http://datasociety.co/ )

Dmitri & Josh will show the group how to analyze fitbit data. They will use data from a member of the group and go through the process of interfacing with the fitbit API. They will then give a general overview of his process of analyzing data. Contact us if you have Fitbit data that you would like to be analyzed!

(3) Jona || Analytical chemist with biochemistry and pharmacology background

Jona will talk about biohacking using panels of medical tests, loosing 30lbs, nutritional deficiencies, and commonly available Biohacking medical testing.
