Great idea to tour - weather aside. ~Jack

We were fortunate to meet a handful of friendly and interesting people at the venues we attended, but overall I was disappointed by the turnout. D.C. deserves our reputation as weather wimps!

It was so great to see all of these startups and businesses opening up their doors for complete strangers. DC Tech is such a fantastic community.

Only 2nd meetup, but it was way easier to interact with people while traveling around and also easier to have meaningful conversations. A+ guys.

It was an interesting, if very rainy, evening touring various Digital Dupont locations. Peter did a great job organizing this.

Even with the rain, there was a high turnout.

There was no reason to brave tornadoes and storms to attend an event that involved a lot of outdoor moving around. You should've rescheduled the event!

Was a fabulous idea...the weather just wouldn't cooperate. Would love to see this done again, maube even add a scavenger hunt or location based game aspect to encourage moving around.

The event was well organized and the hosts were very gracious - tons of beer, wine, empanadas, tacos, and beer! Salsa, in particular, was very warm and welcoming and they gave away their own salsa! My apologies to Includ - I'd thought the pong table for was beer pong.

The first place I went to didn't actually participate and there was nothing really going on at the second place. Combine this with the heavy rain, I ended up bailing out.

We don't use the wall comment feature at DC Tech Meetup as it spams every one's accounts and we can't turn it off. Please use the Discussion Forum. ANY POSTS AFTER MY COMMENT WILL BE DELETED - AND IF THIS IS ABUSED YOU'LL BE BANNED. Thanks - and sorry for the heavy hand :)
