Game on! F# workshop
Details
Who: Andrea has been developing software for more than 15 years.After a long life in the entreprise development world for the last 3 years she has been developing games and the proud co-founder of BatCat Games. She co-founded Dublin GameCraft.it (http://gamecraft.it/) in 2012, Dublin Alt.Net (http://alt.net/) in 2008 (a .net user group) , recently started Functional Kats, a functional programming user group, and Fermented Polygon, a game programming user group. She enjoys learning about different programming languages.

What: game workshop, It is way more entertaining to learn by doing. To that end we will be using Duality (https://github.com/bravesirandrew/duality) (an open source game engine) with a F# plug-in (also OSS) to create power-ups (or power downs? ) to Breakout (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breakout_%28video_game%29).
To get the most from the session please try and bring a laptop along with F# installed.
