dcjq[23] Git Workshop

It’s a git workshop!

New to git? Already a git user and want to sharpen your skills? For the next jQuery meetup (dcjq[23]) we’ll cover the very basics of git as well as some more advanced usage in two tracks for about 20 minutes. Then we’ll split into groups of 6-10 to do a workshop and get everyone committing to the same code base by the end of the meetup! Space will be limited, so please RSVP only if you know you can make it.

You’ll need a laptop and an account on github wouldn’t hurt. There will be some setup instructions sent out to the mailing list shortly beforehand so that we’re also starting with a baseline git installation. To get a head start, check out https://help.github.com/articles/set-up-git.
