What adventure activity are you still waiting to try?

My next learning adventure is rock climbing. After that will be scuba diving and motorcycle riding.

Adventure to any part of the world, where would it be?

Back to Finland with the beautiful lakes and ancient birch forests.

What is the coolest Adventure you've done?

This answer used to be "Shanghaied our guide in Shanghai," but now I have to say that rock climbing in the WV Seneca Rocks, Via Ferrata Style, has been the most personally challanging adventure yet.

What kind of adventure activities do you do?

I like road trips... especially where I set out with no particular agenda. My conversion van allows me to have what I need always ready. Tammy has dubbed this the "shag wagon." I don't know what this means--wish I did.

How did you hear about us?

My adventure group friends are among the finest people I've ever met. It's wonderful to find people who still love to explore and play as adults. There's nothing better than hanging around a camp fire after an active day together.

What Vanilla is saying about this Meetup Group

Tammy does a great job with setting up a loose structure and letting things run. She does this with such apparent ease that her job looks easy. At camp, we work as a community, pitching in, sharing, and helping out where needed. We get to hang out in a way that few of us get to do in our every-day lives anymore. As I attend more camping trips, friendships are becoming deeper and richer. Although I don't see these people often, I have a closer connection with some than with acquaintances and neighbors I've known for years.
