As you know, going international as an ex-pat, as a student or as a globe trotting tourist can be a life-altering experience and difficult to explain to others who haven't been there and done that.

While Washington, DC is a very international city you might have had some difficulty in actually meeting Europeans and Europhiles like yourself, but you would definitely like to expand your social circle...

That's exactly why DC Euro was created!

Now, we are not a group for everyone...

We are primarily a social group. If going out, meeting new people, making friends and having fun is not your interest, we are likely not for you.

We are a group for adults only. You must be at least 21 years of age as alcohol is served at many of our events and venues.

We are a group for both singles and married couples. Many of our members see our social activities as a great way to meet and make friends.

We generally schedule happy hours and dinners, enjoy large events like Oktoberfest and Francophonie, attend embassy events and follow European sports. We both find and organize European cultural events, both classical and contemporary, in and around Washington, DC!

To join DC Euro, please introduce yourself through our initial questionnaire and tell us about your background and experiences as well as what you would like to get out of the group.

This is a requirement when you first apply to join our DC Euro group because it will help us get to know each other before we meet and discover things we have in common.

You must attach your photo along with answering all of the required profile questions to make it easier for us to find each other the first time you come to an event!

Not answering all questions and/or not providing a picture = Guaranteed Decline
