What intersection of law and technology interests you the most?

Public access to government information -- how it is made available, how it could be made available, and what can be done with it to solve real problems, especially those of an ever-weakening legislative capacity to address critical problems.

What unique skill set or connections do you hope to teach the group?

Drafting legislation that addresses urgent tech (transparency) needs.

I'm the policy director at Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington and the director of the Congressional Data Coalition. I translating law, tech, and policy with varying levels of skill. Despite this intro, I do have a sense of humor.
