We are an eclectic and environmentally conscious group with an insatiable appetite for delicious, fresh, healthy food!

If you are interested in learning more about how to make a positive change for yourself, your neighbors, and future generations by choosing the right foods, at the right time, from the right farmer, this is the group for you.

Do you want to make friends with great people who have a practical and fun outlook on eating better, helping the environment, bettering our country's agricultural and food practices- while having a good time?

Would you like to be involved in a grass-roots awareness movement with local and national food and agriculture topics through book, film, and field trip discussions and participation in government legislative actions?

Would you like to be a part of a DC movement to break down all of the information that is becoming available about buying organic, buying local, the effects of big agriculture companies (to include organics), CSAs, farmers markets.....into an easy user's guide specific to our area on what you can buy and where?

Would you like to be part of a direct connection to the farmer that raised the fresh tomato you buy at the farmer's market?

How about doing all of these things and enjoying great company and great cuisine at the same time? Then this group is for you- welcome!
