The Main Presentation:

New Media Initiatives and the Challenges Surrounding Them
Monumental Sports & Entertainment, which owns the Washington Wizards, Washington Capitals, Washington Mystics and the Verizon Center, has, since its inception, prided itself on being at the forefront of innovation in the technology and new media space.  Online content portals, paperless ticketing, loyalty programs, and outdoor LED billboards are but a few examples of new media and tech ventures MSE has rolled out in the last two years.  Innovation never stops, and MS&E is always seeking new ways to connect fans, players, sponsors, and employees to each other.  The MS&E team responsible for identifying and implementing these innovations will give us an inside look at the projects they’ve developed, and will share insight into some of the challenges pro teams and tech start-ups must both address to produce productive and powerful new products and activations. 

Greg Chatzinoff is Senior Analyst, Business Development for Monumental Sports & Entertainment. Greg grew up in NYC, and while attending Duke University undergrad worked with CBS (business development) and the New York Jets (ticket operations). He has been with Monumental since graduating Duke in 2011.
