Kin Lane, API Evangelist

Kicking off the first DFW API Professionals Meetup with Kin Lane as our guest speaker.  Kin IS the API Evangelist.  Not in the sense that he's evangelizing a single API to you, in the sense that APIs are important for everyone to be aware of.  He's paying attention to not just the technical, but the business and politics of the web API movement.  He shares insights by blogging on the business of APIs at apievangelist.com, politics of APIs at apivoice.com and you can find more information about Kin at: kinlane.com.

We'll start with food and drinks from 6:00 - 6:45, Introductions will follow and Kin will start speaking around 7:00.

From 8:00+,  we'll hang around and spend some time talking about APIs.

Parking area is shown on this map.

You will need a picture ID, and your license plate to fill out an attendee parking form. You can also download and print the form before you arrive.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
