Bright Forge Park Day

All you need to bring for your first time is water and sunblock. We'll have some loaner weapons and plenty of answers for all your questions. Feel free to just come watch or to get as involved as you like.

Come join us for ditching, battle games, and socializing. Amtgard is free to play! We meet every Saturday afternoon and play almost until dark, weather permitting. Though there are sometimes themed weekends and events, a usual park day will include some individual sparring, instruction for new players, ditching (informal, fast-paced, two-team combat using only militia weapons), and a battle game using class abilities and magic.

There's often a group of non-fighters to socialize with, and we plan to offer some weapons construction and art workshops throughout the year.

I will notify this group of any cancellations. Otherwise there are always players in attendance each weekend. We're averaging about 30 every Saturday. The pavilion is sometimes rented out, so look for the group with a red banner, foam weapons, and brightly colored tunics at or near it.
