Data Science and Big Data Problem Solving Team Event

DFW Big Data and DFW Data Science are getting together on July 12th, to problem solve your most difficult data challenges. Our members have been requesting a forum to share problems and whiteboard solutions with each other. Let's do this! We will organize up to 15 teams, so we need YOU to send your toughest data challenge that you currently need help solving. Send your challenge through meetup to one of the co-organizers. One week prior to the event we will post the challenges and assign expert mentors to each team, once you arrive to the meetup you'll have the opportunity to select participation on the team that you think you can learn or contribute the most. Our awesome venue partner, Addison Treehouse will be hosting tours of their co-working space. Founded by the Town of Addison and the Dallas Entrepreneur Center (DEC), the Addison Treehouse is a 501c3 non-profit resource centered coworking space that focuses on on providing entrepreneurs and startups with the community, educational programs, and mentorship that are vital for the growth and sustainability of businesses.

Divergence Academy will be your first stop to check in and finalize team assignments, then you'll head over to the Addison Treehouse for a walking tour on your way to food/drink at our gathering place to discuss goals of the evening. Off you will go to assigned meeting spot with your team. That's it. A representative of your team will return with the solution/s that the team came up with to solve the problem. Once complete, we'll have an expert panel review and will provide the results at our next meetup. 6-6:30pm Check in at Divergence Academy for Team Assignments and Take Tour of Addison Treehouse Co-Working Space

6:30-7pm Networking, food and drink and take a seat in the Addison Treehouse meetup room We will brief the teams on rules of engagement and send of to work space areas within the Addison Treehouse or Divergence Academy
