In the last two years, R language contributors have created a large number of utilities for generating interactive JavaScript visualizations that exploit D3 and other libraries. Bruce Moore will demonstrate how to use R to generate gazillions of lines of code for interactive JavaScript visualizations--without knowing anything about JavaScript.

Dr. Bruce Moore uses R's statistical tools for various simulation modeling, generating demand vs. price curves for use in pricing models, and fraud and abuse detection. He has been an R user since 2002. He still struggles with how to answer his wife's question "What do I tell your mom what you do for a living so that she can tell her bridge group what you do for a living?"
Instructor of Introduction to R in Data Analytics Workshop (https://contsturegister.smu.edu/CourseStatus.awp?&course=152BDA510A-D) at SMU in the Continuing and Professional Education (CAPE) program. Course starts on October 13th!
Dr. Bruce Moore is an operations research analyst and principal of Moore Software Services, LLC.
