A diva is a strong and vibrant woman, and a Divine Diva is a woman who gains her strength from her faith.

Divine Divas is a social group for Christian African American women in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area. This group is primarily for African/Black American women, but all Christian women are welcome.

We are simply a group of friends, who all just happen to be Christians, creating a safe/sane atmosphere, where we can go out and have a good time, and occasionally give back to the community. This group is not about perfection or judgment. We all face obstacles in our journey, and it's vital to have Christian friends for sharing, encouragement, and inspiration.

Our activities are broad and varied and include: dining out, shopping, and volunteering. We also have movie days/nights and regularly attend concerts and other live performances, events, fairs, and festivals.

Each diva makes this group what it is, so the burdeon is not solely placed on the Event Organizers and Hosts, since ultimately we're all just a group of friends trying to find fun activities to do, and trying to build lasting friendships.

Members are encouraged to participate by suggesting ideas for new meetups on the calendar and/or posting on the message board. (Members can also optionally host events anytime.)
