UPDATE @ Tuesday, May 22 at 10:00am:
I recently sent an inquiry to the Tournament Director at Sherrill Park Golf Course regarding any scheduled events that would hinder us from playing the course at the time that we wanted to go out.
In response, I received an email back stating that he has reserved 5 tee times for our group with the first time going off at 11:44am on Sunday, June 3 on Sherrill Park Course #1 with the next tee time 8 minutes later, so on and so forth.
Well of course I replied thank you very much in kind so I will be expanding the attendees list to a maximum of 20 golfers. http://img2.meetupstatic.com/1723755200050492932723/img/smileys/biggrin.gif
At time of this writing, we have 16 golfers signed up, the most of any event so far for our group. Thank you.
I will send out at least one more email regarding this event as the date gets closer.

As of this time, we have 13 sign-ups for this event. I will extend out the number attendees to 16 for this meetup.
I have contacted the Sherrill Park and there reservation policy is 4 days prior to the requested date so we still have time to fill all 16 spots.
Thank you for those who have responded and I am looking forward to meeting many of the first timers to this meetup.

I stated I was going to schedule the next 3 events so here is the third event as promised...
I have chosen Sherrill Park in Richardson, TX. I have heard lots about this course so why not give it shot.
Why not play Memorial day weekend, May 26-28?
The prior weekend of this event is Memorial Day weekend so many of you may have plans with family and friends so I chose the following weekend to play. If I get enough comments stating lets play Memorial Day weekend, we have enough time to change the date to the prior weekend.
Sherrill Park has two courses, 1 & 2. I have not contacted the course yet but I can properly anticipate a maximum 7 day reservation policy in advance.
Per the golf course website, www.sherrillparkgolf.com, they have a discount rate starting at 11:30am through 2:00pm for $30 or $26 pending on the course, includes cart. I will be looking for tee time within this time frame.
I will be open up this event for the first 8 golfers with an active waiting list. Should the waiting list grow, I will expand out the number of in multiple of fours.
