February Meet & Greet

Creative Concept Studios’ would like to invite you to our monthly Open House meet and greet. This is a no-cost, friendly get-together for local artists and friends. We will provide studio tours, open photo shooting, industry networking, portfolio sharing, and social time in a relaxed, professional studio environment.

The studio will provide water and/or soft drinks for refreshment during the Open House. Please feel free to bring any other food or beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) of your choice. There are several restaurants and stores in our area for convenient food and drink runs.

A Meet & Greet is your chance to network with local models, photographers and stylists. Spend time sharing portfolios, swapping stories, scheduling shoots, and (most importantly) having a great time with other folks interested in the same things you are.

Activities within the Open House will vary from month to month, but may include art exhibitions, costume themes, body painting, photography workshops, production photo shoots, live music performances, potluck barbeques, fire performances, and more.

Who can come? This group is open to all ages, all levels of experience, seasoned professionals and newb hobbyists. We're here to share creativity, have fun, and meet new people!

I don't know anyone... will I be out of place? Certainly not! The DFWMRG is a friendly group of creatives who are all very welcoming to all who attend. It doesn't matter if you're new to our group, or a veteran!

What should I bring? Bring your portfolio, comp cards, business cards, and your calendar, as well as any materials you have to market yourself. Please remember our venue is a family friendly establishment. There will be shooting opportunities at these events, so bring a camera or come photo ready. Studio lights and basic props will be provided. Please bring your strobe triggers. Please remember to label all your gear, the security of your equipment is solely your responsibility.

Can I bring a guest? Yes, but we encourage group members to keep guests to industry related people. We just ask that you limit guests to 1.

Yea, I'm excited! So where and when is it? We'll be meeting from 7-10pm at Creative Concept Studios, which is located at 3215 Rufe Snow Drive Richland Hills, TX 76118.

Open Studio/Open Casual Shooting Guidelines:

**No charge.

**No nude shoots. (Meet & Greet events are family friendly)

**Studio is open to those who wish to model/photograph in a group/collaborative format.

**No formal sets or styling are provided - standard photo backdrops are set up with studio lighting gear available for use.

**Each photographer is responsible to exchange contact information with anyone she/he shoots, and to provide images directly to the model(s) and/or Make Up Artists after the event. The studio is NOT a go-between for providing contact information and forwarding images from photographers to models after the event.

**Model releases are negotiable directly between parties shooting together during the event. Models, if you plan to shoot, please be willing to sign a promotional-use model release for each photographer. It is at the discretion of the model as to whether to sign any commercial-use release for images shot at Open House.
