Are you age 21-36 and looking to travel with new friends? Then you're almost a member! We are looking for active members, so to help make sure this Meetup will be a good fit for you please check the following criteria:
-age 21-36 (older must be referred by an existing member)
-living in Dallas- Ft. Worth
-able to attend a local event at least once every 3 months
-able to travel on an overnight trip least once per year
-if you are a couple: please sign up as individual members
If you fit all of the above, then welcome to the most active travel Meetup in DFW! We keep this group full of ACTIVE members only, so you can count on our membership numbers being accurate to the number of potential new friends you could meet. Members who don't meet the above posted attendance requirements are warned, then removed, but are welcome back if they are able to actively participate in the future.
This Meetup was spurred by the idea that there are young people in DFW who want to make new travel friends, but aren't necessarily comfortable meeting strangers from the Internet to immediately go jaunting off on a trip. With that said, this Meetup is a "social travel group", which means we have social events and fun activities all over the DFW metroplex, plus weekend and daytrips within one day's drive of DFW. Read out About page for details http://www.meetup.com/DFW-Travelers/about/
