I studied the culture and language for 7 years by listening to people speaking it in different places like Tai Chi, grocery stores, music, and gradually throughout these 7 years, people started to verbally teach me as each year passed me by so that eventually I could understand some of what people said, or I could follow a conversation. By the 7th year, I was forming broken sentences and was breaking the language barrier finally, but then i was forced to stop and switch to Korean and Spanish. This was many many years ago, and now I am currently learning Korean and Irish Gaelic languages, but because i have no one to speak or practice Zhun Guo Ren with, Im slowly starting to forget things :( I can still understand half of what someone is saying, but i cant speak as much as I used to >.< So hopefully if I attend this group, I can brush up and maybe even learn more than i did before!
I can partially understand when someone is speaking, but its been a long time so I need to review, and maybe in the future I can get a Rosetta Stone to speed up my learning :D
Unfortunately no :( But one day I would love to go visit the great wall of China :D
