Welcome to TC Paddlesports. Whether your a kayaker, Canoeist or SUP'er there are activities for you! This group is sponsored by the Trinity Coalition, the non-profit that manages the Trinity River National Water Trail. Please check out our website at https://trinitycoalition.org/ .
When attending trips please arrive early enough before the posted departure time so you can load you boat and be ready to go. We require participants wear a personal flotation device (life jacket)
All members are encouraged to post ideas for trips as long as they are safe and within their abilities. Please feel free to get involved or ask questions.
Be aware that all participants are responsible for there own safety, if you feel a trip is being conducted in a unsafe manner or above your skill level you may leave the activity.

Get Certified! Community Paddlesport Leader
TC Paddlesports at Panther Island, 480 N Taylor St, Fort Worth, TX, US## Serious Inquiries Only! Class will fill up fast!
When: Thursday, August 27th - 2-hr Virtual class; Friday, August 28 - Sunday, August 30
Virtual Class Time: 6 PM - 8 PM; Onsite Class Time: 9 AM - 3 PMPrerequisite: Must complete a Kayaking 101: Basic Skills Course (held most Saturdays-Sundays) *CPR Certification (required; must be current)
What: $275 Course Fee: includes *CPR First Aid Safety, Certified Instructors, ACA 1-year discounted membership, Course instruction manual, and Certification. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.Where: Participants and Instructors will meet at TC Paddlesports each day at Panther Island, 480 North Taylor Street, Fort Worth, TX 76102. Purpose:
The primary purpose of a Community Paddlesports Leadership course is to certify individuals to safely, effectively, and confidently lead group day excursions in calm or mild-water environments. It transitions paddlers from focusing on personal skills to mastering group management, risk assessment, and trip planning.Audience:
Outdoor Organization Staff: Camp counselors, non-profit guides, and university trip coordinators.
Community & Club Organizers: Meetup organizers, parks and recreation staff, local paddling club leaders, and scout leaders.
Hobbyists: Casual paddlers who want the formal training to take friends and family members out on the water safely.Certification value: The ACA's CommunityPaddlesports Leader certification equips individuals with trip planning and on-the-water basic skills. It is designed to allow staff, club members, and volunteers to confidently and safely lead beginner-friendly day excursions on calm, sheltered waters for various craft like kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards.

- Community Paddlesports Leader Curriculum
- The (CPL) certification courses explore and develop solutions to paddling challenges including venue selection, group management, participant competency, and rescues across a variety of paddlecraft. This non-discipline specific course trains leaders who engage with the broader paddling community to provide safe, fun paddling experiences at the entry level for day trips on calm water. Full CORN MOON paddle at Panther Island
TC Paddlesports at Panther Island, 480 N Taylor St, Fort Worth, TX, USEnjoy the sunset on the water and night on the Trinity River National Water Trail under the full moon. See the river forest by night and the city lights from the water under the full moon.
We will meet at TC Paddlesports at 6:45 PM and launch at approx 7:15 PM from the Panther Island Beach. We will paddle into the sunset. Once the sun is down, we will turn around to enjoy the calm water and the full moon over the city as we return to the beach.
Sunset 8:00 PM. Moonrise 8:18 PM.
This is a beginner friendly trip of about 4 miles.Rentals available
Lights vests and guide provided.
$50 per person single kayak
$90 2 person kayak or canoe
$45 Stand Up Paddleboard (1 person)
Included with Deluxe Adventurer Season Pass, but preregistration is required so we know to save you a spot.Location: 480 N Taylor St. Fort Worth, TX

Bring water, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, as well as clothes and shoes that can get wet (YOU WILL HAVE TO STEP INTO THE WATER).
