Self-tracking is an excellent way to understand our behavior and learn more about ourselves. With the increase in ease of use of technology and the decrease in cost doing so is becoming easier. This group provides the opportunity to meet with other like minded individuals to share our experiences, research, and discuss future opportunities.
By connecting with other people who are interesting in self-tracking we can share our knowledge and help each other learn.
Yes. I have tracked coffee and water consumption, calorie intake. I'm currently trying to find a way to accurately record all the behaviors I engage in during the day. I am also interested in developing mobile applications for self-tracking.
I am the organizer.
I am a graduate student in the department of behavior analysis at the University of North Texas. My introduction to the field was through animal training but I quickly became enamored with the data collection process and methodology.
