Visit to the American History Museum

Join us and check out the American History Museum, one of the best known Smithsonian museums on the National Mall. If you haven't visited since fifth grade, it's definitely time for you to visit it again.

We'll start congregating at the information desk on the second floor at 12:30, and take the highlights tour at 1:00. If you are coming into the museum from the Mall, you will enter the second floor and should see the information desk.

(Please note: there is another information desk on the first floor in you come in from Constitution Ave. In you enter from Constitution, please come upstairs to the other information desk.)

Link to the American History Museum. Directions on how to get there are here. Basically, take the Metro to the Smithsonian stop. Admission is free, as with any other Smithsonian museum.

Please keep your RSVP updated so we know whether everyone has arrived. The iPhone app for Meetup is handy and lets people most messages as things come up.
