Medius, Maximus, and Motrin
Details
You're Gluteus isn't the only place that will feel it, this one will leave you feeling nice and sore from head to toe. So grab the Motrin and let's go! It's an all day affair with more twisties than you'll be able to count. This is one of the few rides where skill, endurance, and adreneline are a must! Not to mention leaving the not so reliable bike at home. We're talking over 9 hours of riding time, nearly 500 miles of road, and not many stops along the way. But the smiles it will put on your face will last a long while! So yes, this is definitely an advanced ride!

On this ride we'll visit the wonderful scenery of the Monongahela National Forest. We'll be passing through the West Virginian towns of Franklin, Durbin, and Huntersville with some Virginian towns of Hightown, Warm Springs, and Craigsville. What roads are they on? Routes 33, 250, 219, and 39 just to name a few. So start stretching and get ready for one of the best rides you'll do this year!
Meet time: 7:30 AM
Roll-out time: 8:00 AM
Level of Difficulty: Advanced
This ride is not for those requiring many trips to the bathroom, have to stop to tinker with thier bikes, have to stop to smell the roses, can't ride for long periods of time, can't refrain from tricks and stunts, don't know how to take turns at higher speeds, just started riding, and haven't had a lot of practice at cornering. Riding 2 Up is not recommended, your passenger might hate you afterwards. And though we do not want or expect anything to happen, planning for the worst is a necessity. We will be far away from home, please make sure you have AAA, a buddy who's willing to drive out to get you, or some way to get you and your bike back home safely!
Inclement weather reschedules are posted and e-mailed the evening before the ride
DMVRR is not responsible for you, your bike, environment, or other's actions. Ride within your limits. Ride safe!
