Buttons, Bubbles & Surfaces-Broadcast Live Online!
Details
Join us at Johnson County Community College for more Photoshop fun!
I've recently been inspired by Apple's use of radial texture aluminum surfaced buttons, so let's reproduce that look. It's a popular look for text too when given a brushed aluminum surface in place of radial, so web designer and print designers will want to check this one out!
In addition to this look, we'll play with creating translucent "jelly bean" style buttons.
The techniques we employ will involve Photoshop's Shape Tools, Layers, Layer Masks, Layer Groups, Blend Modes, Filters and some hand painting. Don't sweat it if that sounds over your head, it's meant to make you think and become aware of the possibilities... It's OK if it doesn't all sink in at once. http://img2.meetupstatic.com/981263258369601089/img/smileys/smile.gif
As always, if YOU have something relevant you are willing to share, let me know when you arrive, and you can demo from your computer or my Mac.
This event will be recorded for future viewing, and broadcast live at 7pm Central Time. Log in with your web browser a few minutes early at: http://experts.adobeconnect.com/dpac-kc
