Pin-up photography tutorial and studio photoshoot

Our member Craig Colvin will give a presentation on creating pin-up style photography (you can find some of his work on his Model Mayhem profile or his Pinup Gallery). He will go over preparation, shoot and postprocessing for this popular type of pictures. We will then have some hands-on experience under his guidance with two models in a studio setting. A make-up artist will be on set to create the look that we need. Every photographer will have one-on-one time with the models and will get some great shots! This will be a 3 hour meeting in a large professional studio in San Jose.
Our models will be Dorothy Von Fink , MM #1350805, and Victoria Martino , MM #1246974.
Full model releases will be available in exchange for a CD with your full-size, high-quality results.

SrinivasGreat fun and learning experience . Loved the group interaction. As a first time group shooter, I stepped on some toes trying to get some shots in, my apologies!! Craig showed some cool stuff for pinup actions, it would be great if we can get him to post it somewhere or email the group if possible :-)

George HaasAmazing studio and sets. Really fun group. Great presentation by Craig, on pin-up. Might be good to have a new member orientation, with instructions on allowing time for lights to re-charge and shooting rotation when shooting with more than two photogs at one time. I would do this again any time. It was definitely worth paying extra. Thanks to Frankie and Robert Jan for lining up models and make up artist. They were fabulous! And, thanks to Craig for all of the great concepts. Let's do more!
