DTC Area Moms started in September of 2010. The goal of the group is to get mothers (and dads and other caregivers) of young children together, find friends for our kiddos, and get out and about in our local area. The DTC Area of Denver includes Englewood (unincorporated part), Greenwood Village and Centennial areas. We do meetups everywhere though, so members are not limited to living right in the DTC.
My name is Elizabeth Parker and I took over the group in September 2013, after moving the area in June of that year. We are a great group of moms and love meeting everyone! Most of our meetups are during the week, so a lot of us are SAHM's, but we do post family weekend ones sometimes too. We appreciate it if you are accountable and show up to the meet ups if you have signed up. Anyone and everyone can host a meetup and I encourage members to do so. Just suggest it on the page and I can announce it. There are kiddos of all ages in the group from babies to preschoolers, so please post a meetup that works with your age group if you don't see one that quite fits.
Dues are not currently mandatory, but strongly encouraged as the website charges $180 a year to keep the group active. As the organizer, I've been footing the bill, but it would be great for members who use the service to pitch in as well :) I look forward to meeting everyone soon!!
New members must be approved by the Organizer

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
